I used to be involved with Forest Holidays, but honestly, they're brilliant, so relaxing, I love the in commercialised nature of the place. Make sure you book a Silver Birch or golden Oak style though if you want a hot tub.
Enjoy! They're brilliant! |

I know they were more expensive than the likes of Hoseasons but the experience of the place looks amazing..
I just know that websites take the best pictures etc and often the reality can be a bit of let down.. hense asking for personal experiences But if you worked for them.. guess that means you have that lol |

"I'd quite like a nice cottage on the coast somewhere. Take nice strolls along the seafront then go back and get all cosy in front of a fire with a nice meal and a bottle of wine. No tv, just us"
see i wanted the woodland/forest, listen to wildlife, sit out, star gaze, get lost in the wilderness |

Not sure it will offer exactly what you want but check the self catering section of a website called furtherafield.com
They have some stunning properties incl one called the 'love shack' (sadly no hot tub, i checked )
There is a hotel near Harrogate called Rudding Park that has lodges within the grounds / parkland around the main hotel.
The lodges have hot tubs on the verandah (well, some of em do) |

You should definitely try Scotland, lots of remote locations here, especially in the Highlands where I live.
I'm hoping to build a house on some land I have in the next couple of years..I always planned a log fire and a hot tub, now I have an extra reason to get them |
