Your presence has been noted over time. Sadly you are not unique, there are a number of you so hopefully you will not take this personally. Your vanity, self adoration and sense of entitlement can often manifest itself in various ways. There are ofen daily occurences of such behaviour documented in perpetuity. So perhaps, though doubting you will, halt back the delusions of grandeur, your competitive approach to social interactions and even the aggressive, prejudiced and even bigoted behaviour that you feel is acceptable towards others in this incognito world. Not cool and only those of often similar ilk will fall for it. The rest of us will continue to roll our eyes and enjoy chatting to those with a little more substance and normal behaviour. Please, next time you look in the mirror, or the river perhaps, try and love others around you with all their imperfections as much as you love yourself and without fear or bias. Just a final thought, don't go around thinking you're all that, you ain't 
Ps. This was just catharctic for me to write having observed such behaviour for a while and usually from the same few people. This is a moment of self indulgence and narcissistic behaviour if you like of my own. Hopefully not the only one that feels like that from time to time. I find it much more carthartic to not even acknowledge people of this ilk.
If they need to be the loudest person in the room or require an extra helping of validation let them get on with it.
You'll often find that the the old trope that you can't fool all of the people all of the time doesn't apply on fab. |
