I thought that about her too. That song was a bit of an anthem and holds so many memories for me too.
I went to see Texas at Edinburgh Castle last year and I wanted to be Sharleen Spiteri. She was funny, cool, sexy and just awesomely talented. I love her for not trying to be anything other than herself |

Mrs TMN, me too!!! Sure that's where my love of polka dot dresses comes from. I do not want to be her now though, not my favourite aesthetic now.
Also desperately wanted to be Shirley from Garbage. And this totally has not changed in all these years. I love how she getting old is not a bad thing in her eyes and that she doesn't conform to the industry and society standards. |

I was going to go for the obvious Salma Hayek in From Dusk Til Dawn. That mesmerising, hyper feminine and sexualised, confident dance. The way she effortlessly glides.
But... my real, fuck I wish I could be them moment? Butterfly's dance in Death Proof. So fucking hot, so... I wished at the time I looked like that, moved like that. Oh and the flirty conversation before that scene had me kicking my feet in glee. |

I think it was mainly because he lived in such a magical and different world from me, he saw and experienced things under the sea that I never could when I was a kid. I've made up for it since though

First of all I'm not really musical. But No Doubt were the first band that captured me musically as a teenager. Tragic Kingdom on cassette tape was my first album I own. Its still one of my favourite albums. I see it as very much my gateway into my love of Punk, Ska and Reggae. And I had a massive crush on Gwen back then too. Thought see was so cool.
When I was a kid I quite fancied being the character Zeke Anderson from Tour of Duty (I used to stay up and watch it on Channel 3 every Friday). But as I got older there no one I specifically wanted to be or see myself being them.
