What can you see from a window in your house?

"A few other houses of the same build, a row of trees, and a semi urban landscape on a hill. Hopefully one day a walled private garden with a gated entrance. "
Walled for privacy or to create a microclimate for plants ? |

My garden, the former infant school, now housing a day nursery, the main road through the town and then the hill on the opposite side of the valley, lots of green grass and the lovely blue sky with a scattering of cotton wool clouds. |

Front - all the houses on our close, our driveway and my car
Back - garden with a big lawn, lots of trees screening off the building site behind. Bird feeder, bird bath, nest boxes, insect hotels, a bit of patio and my temporary ramp at the back door |

We have sunbathing ducks on lawns and roofs too. We think it's quite amusing |

Can see the town clock trees and fields afar occasional animals out on said fields and can slightly see the river stream that's just round from mine, 34 years on the planet and this is the best house I've stayed in for a view |

Walled for privacy! I used to miss a lot of school as kid (in hindsight it was due to anxiety) and one day the school teacher came snooping to see if was actually unwell or not. Ever since then I’ve wanted a walled and gated house so people can’t just walk up to your front door! |

"Please describe your view from a window in your house.
From my lounge window is my front garden, then the road and in the background lots of trees and mountains.
Have a lovely day all. "

Not from my house, but from where I’m sitting now, I can see…
A volcanic lake with crystal clear water and the rooftops of old Italian terraced houses all at jaunty angles, blue skies and green hills. |

Front window I can see my lawns, then the road and beyond that just fields meeting the blue sky.
Back window is the big lawn, washing line and a row of 30ft conifers. There's usually quite a few wild rabbits hanging about too but none today.

From the south-facing lounge window, about 3 acres of gardens with some lovely tall trees, a field, and the raised banks of a river with grazing sheep on it. From the west-facing lounge window, my walled courtyard with 14' high walls, with more trees beyond, and from my north-facing kitchen window more trees, including a lovely purple beech tree. |
