Hi de feckin Hi !

Not even 4am and the sun still hasnt risen and the local feathery bastards are chirping away so merrily fucking loud that I'm wide awake.

On the first Friday in weeks I'm not working.

Fuck you birdies, fuck you......

No doubt the pidgeon community will start their regular as clockwork early morning orgy soon too ......

Have a good POETS day one and all.

"I'm going to suggest a silenced CO2 air rifle........."

That won't help with the sound of a cow in a neary field that sounds like it's getting gangbanged by every bull in Somerset.

Ah, the joy of country living......

Walking down the only road I've ever known!

Morning OP, the little feckers are at it here too with a wood pigeon leading the solos.

Morning PP.

Dawn and her bloody chorus can feck off and practice their harmonies. Seriously out of tune this fine morning and their timing is well off.

And now the bloody sun is coming up and there's a gap in the blinds........

May have to contemplate coffee and taking the dogs out

Morning OP. For some reason I woke up stupidly early too - before the birds started their racket. Me being awake woke her up but a bit of early morning shenanigans has left her sleepy again while I just lay here considering doing some work.

Good morning op.

I loved listening to the birds chirp on. I stupidly sit there sometimes ad-libbing what they’re talking about.

Do you think they’re just shooting at the very first one that wakes the rest of the sparrows up or something. And they’re all just shouting

Shut up!!

No! YOUshut up!?!?

Mostly it's "this is my bit of gutter, fuck off" or "she's my bird, fuck off" or similar.

Good morning early risers. I got woken by a 10 year old sneaking downstairs to play on the computer and now I can't sleep. I get to listen to the birds fighting with the traffic for vocal supremacy.

Maybe they've all seen a couple of cracking birds and are just screaming 'nice tits' ?

*I realise this doesn't work if they're all screeching crows and cooing pidgeons.

It's the magpies here with their ridiculous cackle.

The dog is fast asleep and does not want taking out, but I'm up so he jolly well can stir his stumps.

Morning all, it's looking glorious.

Well I got back to sleep for a couple of hours at 7ish when all the birds shut the fuck up finally.

Then next doors cat tried to climb through the bedroom window through the blinds and woke me up.

I shall now rename it 'spider cat'.

Our son managed to have a cat follow him home like the bloody pied Piper. It sat meowing under our bedroom window well into the wee small hours

This one comes in our back garden when the dogs aren't out. It was sat outside the front meowing one minute, then climbing through the bedroom window the next.
