"Shove it in me Bruce you fucking horn dog I want you to impregnate me and then shout out the name you wish to give the offspring while ejaculating.
Probably that?"
"Sorry, not again" isn't a suitable name for a child. |

I sent you that in confidence, Bruce |

We should do it again some time though to be fair? |

Pretty much everything is too direct.
Most communication is body language and reading subtle signs and sending vibes.
If you send the right ones, they can respond appropriately. If you send a non-verbal one and it's not reciprocated, both parties can withdraw without loss of face.
Of course, not everyone can send/read non-verbal signs, in which case verbal confirmation is an essential fallback if uncertain. |

Typo!
I am just pondering the same thing. After sending a very direct message.

Actually, something just landed in our inbox that makes my direct message seem like Hugh Grant at his bumbliest so there you go.

I'm good at indirect. Circuitous. Going around the houses. Failing to get to the point. Being too shy to ask. Using metaphor and simile. Not knowing how to approach the edges of the fringe of the matter.
So too direct would be more direct than I can be direct. Too direct would be less indirect.
You'll have to be direct for me, because I won't be. |

Being direct here , to me , never works , everybody knows why everyone else is here so being direct in that case is totally a waste of time . People just don't go for that kinda crap |

I have Asperger's and have spent my entire life saying the wrong thing to the wrong person at the wrong time.
So, I have no idea really -- people say they like directness, but when I am, the response isn't always as favourable as I expect it to be. |

I prefer direct as long as you can back up what you are saying. Life is too short to go around the houses and having to decipher and drag something out of someone that they want to say in the first place.
I’m not your therapist Brian!!

Too direct?
Well to be completely honest, these days we say everything through “flowers“ because we don’t think other person would accept hard truth . instead of saying how it is, when we receive critique on which we answer is “fine” when in reality you wanna say all what’s on your mind, but unfortunately you can’t,because it will put other person in tears and probably will offend.

You can say what you feel without being offensive though. The truth is some people aren’t worth the energy to it takes
