My version of the full English is a sausage, 2 rounds of black pudding, 3 or more rashes of smoked streaky bacon, a fried egg, fried bread (equivalent to one slice of bread, cut into halves), fried onions and mushrooms, to be eaten with Dijon mustard, and to be washed down by a big glass of orange or orange and mango juice, and a large mug of strong creamy sweet coffee.
And I nearly always start with a piece of black pudding with onions, dunk in egg yoke.
Roll on Easter when I shall have my fry ups al fresco while camping.

Rarely have a sausage with my full English but regardless, I always put my poached egg on my multi-grain toast and eat that first, followed by the mushrooms, tomato and bacon. Sausage is likely to be last thing eaten whilst being dipped in bean juices. Guess meat isn't my favourite thing |

I use the first quarter of toast to eat the egg yolk with, and that's the first thing I do. Then it's bacon with egg and another piece of toast, then the sausages - with more toast, then finally the tomatoes. If I've got mushrooms as well I have a half a mushroom with each mouthful regardless of what it is.
I don't like black pudding as it makes me want to vomit. Hash browns are optional, can take em or leave em. |
