It's been an eventful year. I moved house a few months ago so still bedding in here. Things to do here still a few boxes have to be dealt with and some things reorganised

I had a 'lucky' accident on my bike recently. Its been a reminder of my own mortality and how I don't do being ill or impaired very well.

I had been pondering a cycling holiday later in the year but that's on ice.

A person I would have described as my twin has ghosted me after 12 years of being thick as thieves.

But I'm feeling positive and seeing opportunities and looking forward to them.

Morning lovely Meli.

Its great to see everyone has something to look forward to.

I'm doing great. I'm loving the sunshine.

Opportunities regarding work are coming in unexpectedly which is lovely.

103 days until we fly off to Cyprus. I can honestly say I've never needed a week of relaxation more.

A few other things to look forward to before then too. Wonderful people, new people, experiences, adventures and roadtrips.

Also my birthday is exactly a month away. I've gone from being sad to leave my 30s to looking forward to embracing being 40.

Life really does seem to begin here.

I hope you all have a great Thursday and keep finding things to look forward to

Wherever I lay my hat

I am going through massive life changes and am emerging from a place of dark uncertainty having taking a resignation package from work, cancer scare and moving out of my lovely home - all of which had been playing on my mind. In the last week I signed the final legal paperwork, put all my possessions in storage and yesterday got the all clear from the hospital. I feel like massive weights have been lifted and I am now excitedly looking forward to heading off to SE Asia in a few days for 4 months solo backpacking. I'm nervous as hell and will be sad to leave some people behind - but itching to get on with my big adventure and start this next phase of my life.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Honest to goodness, I don't know.

I've had some issues this week that have brought it home to me that I'm likely to need cutting open sooner rather than later, and that's not something I'm willing to accept at the moment. So internal battles are raging there.

I've got some market type events coming up that I'm looking forward to, hoping they'll not be a disappointment.

And I've got to give my dogs a major clipping. I'm not sure if "looking forward to" is the term for that. More "anticipating stress".

Strangely for me, actually ok. I've got some stressful things to finish sorting but the end of the line is nearing. I've got some plans with my kids which they don't know about yet. We just say we're going on an adventure tomorrow morning and then goodness knows what we'll do. I'm finally well enough to actually start decorating my house so it's paint samples galore in my bedroom at the moment. I'm taking the other half to see a ballet in September which I'm beyond excited about. And a mate from the states messaged me last night saying he's going to visit end of next month, which has made me happy.

I'm looking forward to meeting more people from the forå, Fab people with whom I've been chatting to extensively through the vapour and where semi-concrete plans are afoot! Plans for lunching, imbibing, woo'ing, coffee'ing, group socialising and the occasional love-making.
