Do you put an egg in your meatballs? I am about to get some going for dinner with salad later and I usually do but someone suggested that it makes them harder.

Mayfair

Yes, it serves as a 'binding agent' when rolling the 'balls' and gives great consistency.

Hefty Hideaway

I always ensure I put an egg in with the meatballs. Just like mama makes

For soft juicy meatballs grate in two tablespoons of parmesan or similar cheese

Thank you all. I did usr an egg and though not had dinner yet, I tried one and they are perfect. A little firm but very juicy and taste delicious
