"Anything with Nicolas Cage in it."
I just put all 100+ of his films on my bucket list after yesterdays thread
Lord of the rights. Technically I saw it but was in a cinema in Amsterdam coming up on mushrooms and appear to have seen a totally different version to everyone else.

I try to be tolerant and not to judge the decisions and preferences of others.
I'm trying, really am."
You can try but I can still feel your scorn from here.

That's not scorn. it's confusion sadness and wanting to know how this happened.
To live and die and to have never watched The Life Of Brian is a life half lived. |

Star Wars, Rocky, Jaws, the Alien franchise, probably others.
I don't judge people for what media they haven't consumed. I judge people who quote said media in ways that are clear that they don't understand it at all |

If you are going to watch a Monty python film I would suggest the holy grail before the life of Brian |

"Never seen any Harry potter, lord of the rings or Star wars films."
I did once try to watch the first of the Peter jackson Lord of the Rings films but just found it incredibly boring
Mind you, I had watched the cartoon adaptation that came out when I was a kid - but that one doesn't count, lol |

I have to agree on this. The prequels were dire. |

Brian works as a movie, the others have some great moments, the every sperm is sacred and strange women lying in ponds are hilarious.
Brian is a great movie, a wonderfully blasphemous pisstake of Christianity and more. The psycho roman legionnaire grammar nazi is one for the ages but there's too much to pick one part. |

Latin: conjugations!
Ancient Greek: conjugations? Pfft. It's participle time, naughty students |

Life of Brian should be required viewing for anyone studying Philosophy and religions (and their births) - plus its fkin hilarious. One of, it not, my most favourite films ever.
I know it's a python comedy but it touches on SO many issues WAY ahead of its time (Loretta being an immediate one to note) and the willingness of many demographics to latch onto something, be it an individual or an ideology....
Anyway, it's still a brilliant film, as is the 'Meaning Of Life'
Also on the surface, again regarded as nothing more than a comedy, until you watch a bit closer and realise what the writers were saying. |

These are films (and I am a film lover) that I feel I should see but really can’t be arsed.
The Lion King
Mary Poppins
Citizen Kane (I think I started it once)
Pretty Woman (Sorry a Rom Com about a Prost*tute and their client )
Most musicals ….Grease is an exception. |

Bambi
When I was a kid he reminded me of a spider when he was learning to walk. Freaked me out and I've not watched any further since then.
Goonies
Saw a trailer where the fat kid was made to dance and took it personally, so never watched it.
I've seen the first star wars, but none of the others. |
