Kids in the schools near us have been told to make snowmen to help reduce flood risk, but closed the schools during the snow, cos of health and safety |

my silly logic on this one is that compacted snow in large shapes would remain colder for longer and prevent snow mass melting all at once...

would take a lot of snowmen but that was my crazy thinking.. saves saturating the land/fields all at once though |
