Do you love yourselves? Do you get insecure messaging or chatting up the slim people?
Women say they live big boys but I’m starting to think they actually just mean in penis size not weight. Ooops |

I dated a super fit lass for a while; 6-pack, buns'o'steel, trained 3 times per day, ate pulses and veg. I totally loved the fact that she didn't try and preach her lifestyle to me at all, and she liked my physique as it was. I did get fitter being around her (not just for the obvious reasons, but the number of Domino's orders diminished heavily!). |

Personally I'm happy with myself and comfortable in my own skin. Always have been to some extent but I think naturism helps me too to love the body I've got. I've always been big even when I was always very active (my former career was very physical). Not so active now but still do some exercise. Skinny doesn't suit me one bit and my size hasn't ever seem to be a barrier to women or made me undatable. If I'm honest I've put on a little too much weight recently than I'm comfortable with and could do with losing a stone. Mainly because I don't want to buy new clothes and just feel a little happy with a little less weight as I do worry about the health implications. Not a biggy, just need to train more again (been very lazzy recently and Im no good at diets). But on the whole I love the skin I'm in and happy with who I am.

I don’t see my size as a limiting factor in anything. There’s plenty more to me than just being a fatty. My time here suggests that those who focus solely on their size as a reason for not meeting people are missing a trick. |

I tend to find myself attracted to chunkier guys. I think as a big woman myself, I feel I'm less likely to break them.
Also, due to my habit of cooking and feeding people, guys tend to have a habit of putting on weight around me. |

We have insecurities, doesn't mean I let them play out today. As it's my responsibility to look at them, where they come from learn what triggers them, ultimately handle them..
In short it doesn't stop me chatting to anyone I find attractive.

I've learnt over the years not to get too hung up over my body. Some people will like it, some people won't regardless of whether I like it or not. Sometimes you end up with someone you think is way out of your league and wouldn't go near you with a barge pole, other times you don't. The point is, if you let insecurities get the better of you, you'll never know who you might be attractive to.I was guilty of letting my insecurities get the better of me through my college and uni years and only later in life found out that I'd missed out on way more fun than I could have had after conversations with people from back then. |

People like different things and some will definitely go for chubby, others may not. The world is better with diversity. It's all about how you feel and not how others may want you to be. Attraction is often more than just looks and body shapes. Those interested in just that often miss out on so much more than people may have to offer. However everybody likes what they like and fair enough. |

I lost weight meself over nearly 9 year's. I lost 4 stone if not more overall. I didn't do anything special like a diet or exercises. That said I lost about 2 stone in about a 6 to 8 week period. Which was frightening experience. The only reason that can be found for it, is stress. The women aren't running after me or wanting to jump my bones cause of it.
That said I still class meself as chubby/ big guy, can't see that changing ever. The real good thing about it is I'm able to wear clothes sizes that I used to be able to wear nearly 30 year's ago. |

I'm drawn in by a great smile and nice eyes but do prefer a chunkier body. Not muscle just a bigger man...like my hubby. Yet most the men I've met so far have been slim as that's the ones that have been in touch. I get very excited and actually have approached 2 guys myself when see this rare (for fab) but sexier body type

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)

And believe me, I am nowhere near perfect
|
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
I'm a little insecure when I'm not training such as now in injured so I don't feel my usual self, I just feel chunky and lazy.
I do strongman as a sport, so have a chunky/curvy build, it goes with the territory. When I'm training, I'm more comfortable with my size as I feel strong, like really strong.
So while I'm doing little I feel meh, while I'm ripping myself apart, aching constantly, endless DOMS, and just worn out, I feel ok haha. |

Liking chunky guys is easy.lots of nice ones on here.
Finding a chunky guy who interests you, and likes you back, and lives close enough to realistically meet, and who wants to meet you again regularly. That seems to be an impossible task. |

I know this thread is meant for women, however I believe larger men are better in bed. Might be a personal preference, however I am happy to hear them the larger sexy guys getting the attention. I know and met guys who were feeling really insecure because of the bullying they go through from them gym bunnies. Unfortunately fat shaming is a big deal and should be treated the same as homophobia or transphobia or sexism. It alters people’s confidence and mental health dramatically. So, if you’re a larger mature chub over the age of 40, preferably in your 50s and need an admirer to make you feel good (and maybe moan), do please drop a line. |

I don't chat up 'the slim people,' so couldn't comment on that.
However, bizarrely, Alice thinks I'm gorgeous so I take that on faith! |

To answer your question OP, some days I feel great and don’t care. Quite often if I am honest, probably due to media etc, I see so many men with a ripped body and wonder why on earth any women would ever want me! |

Never like it and always been self conscious about my body and weight. I use to be 18st. Even when i lost it i still feel the same who i was. But gradually over time you will like for who you are. Everyone has something they don't like about themselves. When you find self love and you start embracing who you are as person, people will like you more. Personality and confidence is key. Remember everyone has a type and there are people out there for everyone |

I’ve been everything from really fat to really slim and I felt the same level of confidence when approaching people regardless of where I was at. I’m a bit more sensitive about it these days but I think that’s just with being on here and being on show more.
The way I always viewed it is - if I message and they ignore or say no it’s the same outcome as never sending a message in the first place. It’s a cliche but it’s true
Mr |

Being chubby myself, I’m not particularly bothered about body size, as long as it’s not an effect of laziness and unhealthy habits.
I’m attracted to confident and self conscious people, with this little “something” I cannot name but I know what it is when I see it. It’s got nothing to do with looks. |

I (the Mr) am not in a very confident place body wise. I've always been a big guy, big shoulders, big hands, big head... and I think that's always let me get away with carrying more excess weight than I should.
At the moment I look like I'm trying to steal a Space Hopper by concealing it under my t shirt |

I am a larger guy and I have had no success on here. But I am now beginning to learn that this is not really the reason. There are ladies out the who like bigger guys-just as I prefer larger and curvy ladies. It’s a complex scene and I have much to learn. |

Over the years I used to think it was my weight that put alot of woman off me.
However incidents that have happened to me personally, in the last year have made me embrace the person I am.
In the last 7 months I've lost 5 and a half stone. I'm working out, watching what I eat etc and that shift in mindset towards that, well I also feel it's changed how I portray myself.
As my whole outlook's changed, it appears that I'm showing a new inner confidence that seems to be a massive attraction towards others, so I've noticed.
I'm still a big bloke and I'm not everyone's cup of tea. However, I'd rather be someone's shot of gin then everyone's cup of tea.
To all you plus sized males. Embrace yourself,
Love yourself,
Find your inner confidence and with that change will come.
Remember, you are worth that change and you are amazing. |
