Getting all set up ( just jeans and boots under a long coat ) ready to take some fun pics in the snow, finding the perfect spot, parking up and making sure there's no-one around - only to discover the twatting camera battery is dead!!

I'm finally given the all clear to drive and my car is surrounded by compacted ice. And though I'm allowed to drive I suspect dealing with a skid is still not wise.

So I may have to spend nearly an hour on public transport getting to a hospital which is seven minutes drive from my house!
