The Black Backed Gulls are the really massive ones. There are videos of them swallowing pigeons and rabbits whole. One had a chihuahua out of a garden in Paignton.
The merely, very big grey and white ones that will go for your ice cream are Herring Gulls. |

I used to love holidaying around Devon, but as I’ve grown older and a bit grumpier, I’ve found that I just can’t be arsed with the drive on the M5 for 29737 hours to get there. If someone fancies chauffeuring me from my sofa to a holiday spot in Devon……oh and don’t suggest public transport, I can’t mix with muggles.  |

So in theory my shih-poos should be safe from the twats nesting on the roof, as theyre not massive. Someone should tell these gulls that! (Mind you,they should also tell Buster that he isn't a wolf... he is a mop dog).
