I don’t live in the same village town I was born anymore but I’m still in the sane region, and I’ve lived in a few different cities but I still live the city of my birth, tell me what’s your favourite thing about your hometown?
Mines the great bars and great restaurants, the big green parks to enjoy,
The castle grounds, the best rock club, the river running through it and the two oldest clubs in the English football league right there looking across the Trent at each other.
It might be a small city but it’s a great one

Similar to you OP I no longer live where I grew up and I have lived in several other places. I will always class where I grew up as my home town. I still have family there so go back to visit regularly.
The thing I love about it is how well I know it. As soon as I go there it feels so familiar. I will never know another place as well as I know home. I know every alley and shortcut. I recognise the tree I fell from and broke my ankle, the garage I had my first kiss. The park, my first fight. And the pub my first pint.
It's not a particularly interesting village, nothing ever happens there. But for me it's full of memories and it made me who I am. That's priceless.

The accent (on the whole). I love love it. It's quite a small place, no particular historical things of note that people will have heard of (bar Roman remains!).
But when I get a chance to go back, I adore it. It's beautiful. |

My favourite thing about the town I grew up in is that i don’t live there anymore. Moved away when I fell out of love with it all, which was when the way decided to develop every bit of available green space they could get away with. Have been nomadic since then but am hoping that I’ve found the home I’d like to end my wandering days in  |

I'm not from Boston Mass but I have a lot of family and extended family there. I don't know the half of them. There's something about the gatherings and reunions there that is good for my soul. Meeting up people you both know and don't know but you have some common unspoken affinity.
The other place is somewhere else where I'm not from. The middle of nowhere in Donegal. No streetlights for miles, when it's dark, its dark. The party will last all night. When the tribe gathers, the laughter starts. You wish you could bottle it and take it with you. |

I was lucky to be in Boston for this year's St Patrick's Day parade. Great atmosphere. |

Stoke City is second oldest ! Yours are one and three  "
Wrong answer stoke only existed as a sole football club after Forest. Before that you were a cricket club.

Originally from Bolton actually born in a two up two down house in the front bedroom, so I’m Bolton boy (  ) through and through. Moved away when I was 17 and never properly lived in the town since. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill so much, Saturday afternoon in town and it was crowded now as dead as a Sunday in the summers of my youth (Before Sunday opening times) I got lost on the market as a little boy as it was so busy, now you’d see a child lost easily. Run down shops and other buildings, it was always a bit rough as a town but now it looks a lot worse.
It’s a shame as Bury (not too far away) is a bustling place with a really great market and town centre, something we could’ve done with some vision and planning.  |

I’m originally from saddleworth near Manchester, it’s a pretty place but I’m glad to have moved out of there. Too many strange people and bad memories for me, I still have family so have to visit occasionally but it’s always a flying visit if I can help it |

Mines is a small country in the Caribbean, I miss it the clean beaches, the fresh fruits and vegetables growing everywhere and the vibes off the people. The views and everything is just so much better to be honest
