I absolutely love a bit of tunes. This year I'm totally priced out of the market to justify attending any concerts/festivals though... I'll live vicariously through who others are seeing still. Any upcoming gigs lined up to attend?
*Newcastle has been killing it this month |

So far this year I've seen Panic at the Disco, Hayseed Dixie and Placebo. Next confirmed one is Sisters of Mercy later in the year, but looking at She Wants Revenge if I can get the day off work after since all the dates available are midweek.
Still a little sad I missed Slam Dunk though. |

"Went to one on Monday and my next is Pink in Hyde Park. "
I really want to see Pink! Me & the feral were discussing it last night, but we'd both previously vetoed as practically my months rent on tickets |

My friend did it’s the best concert he’s ever been too. Which makes me more annoyed that I had to sell our tickets "

Already done Gojira, Lamb of God and The Anchoress so far this year.
Got Geoff Tate, Porcupine Tree, Love Supreme Festival, Bob Vylan and Christine and the Queens booked for the coming months, and I'll probably get tickets for Extreme/Loving Colour as well.
After that, it depends what else turns up. |

They reformed to make an album and tour last year. This year they're playing a few outdoor shows and festivals, then calling it quits again.
The UK show is at Castlefield Bowl, Manchester in a couple of weeks time. Not sure if it's sold out or not. |

Were going to Party In the stark in July. Three days of live bands, silent discos and fingers crossed wall to wall sunshine.
Wanted to take my 8 year old to see Pink at Hyde park. But sadly cant this year. Another time. |

Pulp x 2 in Sheffield next month
Chemical Brothers in Birmingham in November.
Other than that a couple of local bands. Arch Femmesis is my next one, a sexy queer electro duo I've seen a bunch of times and are always good fun.

Christine and the Queens were really special at the Royal Festival Hall tonight.
It would appear it wasn't what a lot of the audience was expecting though, as loads of them walked out after about 3 songs.
Lightweight eclectic-pop was replaced by very loud, spoken word, performance art, electro-prog! |

We saw Wallows in January, we went to Wembley twice last week for Harry Styles and we’re seeing Busted in September. Hoping to get tickets for Highly Suspect and keeping an eye on whether Fozzy add any other U.K. dates.

Saw Ben Howard at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this month, such a great venue for music. Discovered the amazing Mabe Fratti supporting him which is always a bonus
Seeing Ben again at Rough Trade East in August
Benjamin Clementine at the Royal albert hall in October
Jords at the Jazz cafe in October
I am sure there are more to come

"Next up is James at Crystal Palace Bowl. With all my male mates and me - living my best life! "
Are they playing on the actual stage that juts out into the water in Crystal Palace park? |

I would imagine so, it's the concert bowl where all the gigs are held. A fabulous venue, let's hope the weather holds. |

Klarna is a wonderful thing for making me think I'm far more wealthy than I actually am
Extreme are worth seeing just for Nuno. I shot him from the pit (with a camera, not a gun!) a few years ago and hearing his guitar before it hit his effects and amps was something else |

I use Klarna for volkswagen parts
Extreme are too fluffy for me, no doubt that Nuno is a fantastic guitarist but would love to see Living Colour on their own, last time I saw them was at CBGBs in New York at a "Secret" gig in 99 |
