Due to my circumstances I can't / don't ever use my place for meets but I'm quite happy to travel.
However, I find it icky when the person / people I'm meeting mentions they have kids asleep in the house.
I dunno what it is, or why, I just don't feel I could relax knowing this.
Am I just being weird and fussy?

It would totally freak me out. If you have children they come first. When my son lived at home i only ever played here when he was away. Children are unpredictable, they could easily wake and come downstairs or become ill ect |

I only have pets and even they can be off-putting at times. Like when the pooch licked the feet of my playmate when he was kneeing against the bed going down on me! |

I'd been chatting to a lady earlier in the year, it was understood that the first meet would be at hers, and only for a coffee.
Then the school holidays came along, kids around the house, but I could still have had the coffee meet! I said I'd wait until after the holidays!
After the holidays, the youngest was still going to be around, so latterly that was one of the reasons we never met!
To be honest, I think it tells you something about the person and for me, I no longer fancied that person!! |

This post wasn't written to point the finger at anyone who is fine with this, it's just that I don't have kids (don't like them much) and have no interest in them, so I don't really understand how parents are happy to have a virtual stranger in their home for sex when their child / children are asleep.
To me it just feels a bit weird. I don't even like staying with partners who I am in a relationship with, if kids are at home let alone me swinging by for a bit of hows your father - excuse the pun |

Well, it could have been worse....... lol
@ OP there's no way on Gods green Earth I'd agree to a meet knowing their were children asleep in the house. That's wrong on so many levels |

Excuse me, are you referring to my post?
Of course I have no complaint about a lady having children, it's a pretty natural thing for a lady to have children! But what I don't think is natural is for her to be entertaining men, even if it's only for a coffee, while any of these children are around the house!! |

In my honest opinion inviting people from internet sex sites to your home while your kids are in in just bad parenting, your childrens welfair and saftey should come first |

see thats how i see it, i have loads of guys saying i can come in day while kids are at school if you want, when i say i cant accommodate, but to be quite blint, this is my home, its my kids home, i dont want loads of different men coming and going using it as a free brothel lol
And sometimes thats just how they make you feel when they not accept...i dont accommodate |

as i said earlier in thread hotels are there to be used no kids. Children are a precious comodity and should always be safe. Would never have a stranger for sex in my home if my children were young. And now until chrimbo Premier Inns are only 30 quid a nite thats l5.00 each easy answer lol |

have to agree with the hotel room thing, besides which, no mess to clean up ( if made ) scream as loud as you want ( to within reason ) and dont have the wierd moment when you have had enough but dont know or are not sure how to ask them to leave. |

It's stated within our profile we're willing to meet at a hotel even if people live to far away, twice we've booked a hotel for 2 individual meets, each time both couples have cancelled on us, booking a hotel is no guarantee to a meet turning up |

Being female you may get away with that I very much doubt we would "
you'd be suprised
theres very few men on here willing to pay for hotel rooms, most expect you to at least go halfs, which is all honestly i have no problem with but i make them book the room on their card and i give them the money once we are in it |

ok - when i met my first couple they had a young son.
He was on bed - had learning difficulies due to some affliction, and slept the night thru.
I didnt stay the first night as i felt it was off putting.
BUT
as i got to know the couple, this became acceptable.
I now know another couple- who have two kids - who when i go round and play are on bed.
We have played several times and the children have never got up while we palyeed.
They have however got up while we were drinking and talking, so i am just an old school mate - and that works.
I ws nervous at first due to kids - but common sense and stuff means you can be sensible x |

No way would we play in a house where kids were.
Could you imagine what it'd be like for the kid if they came down and caught there parents with another couple, doing God knows what.
The experience could stay with them forever, never mind the embarrassment for all concerned.

When we first started this hobby I was sent a messgage from a guy saying he wanted to meet that night I replied with I have no babtsitter tonight to which he said well shut them in their room upstairs!!!!!
I will never play with my kids in my house cos my youngest doesnt understand that a closed door means she should not walk in! Many times when we thought she was out playing in the garden hubby and I have been caught so I would never invite a stranger into my home while my kids are there.
Nor would I play while kids are in the house if I went to someone elses home, since many kids are like mine and are nosy wee things who like to know who has just walked in the door!!

Personally I think there is something very wrong with inviting strangers into your home when your children are asleep. You could easily be over powered and a stranger loose to do whatever to your children. I dont meet at home when my children are home and they are 18 and 22!! Someone said bad parenting: I agree! |
