Different sizing in clothes even though they say they are the same size. So every item that says they are a M fit the same (based on type of clothing) so a T-shirt from Asda will fit the same as a T-shirt from Primark

Exactly that. I thought DVLA would’ve forced a change by now, especially since they’re so many mopeds/motorcycles around. If you have a car licence, rules vary for L Plates.

I would argue council housing shouldn't be some kind of rare resource in need of rationing. I say council housing should be provided in abundance by the State and ample provision should be provide by for all in society should they chose to use it.

"Religion

Really? I'm curious to hear your reason for this. I'm not religious of course but I'm intrigued now "

In my view, religion is simply a core belief system. However, when most people talk about religion, they're referring to theism (the belief in God) or some kind of other supernatural entity or event that must be taken on faith rather than evidence.

While I don't think it should be illegal, an argument for faith-based religions being illegal is as follows:

Faith-based religions starts from the perspective of observing something and concluding "I don't know how/why this works. Instead of admitting I don't know just now, and going and finding out how/why it works, I'm going to assume that a mythical being/god/magic/whatever is responsible, even if it makes absolutely no sense and there's no evidence for it whatsoever. In doing so, I'm closing off my mind to all other possibilities."

This perspective is a net negative on humanity. Faith is, by definition, belief in something without evidence - or, in the case of many very successful religions, in the face of evidence to the contrary.

I'm not going to invoke all the real world harm specific faith-based religions have done to humanity because thats not what was asked - what was asked is religion as a concept.

Anyway, my tuppence worth. Shouldn't be illegal, but here's an argument as to why.

"Biological men in women's safe spaces and sports.

Im a very masculine woman, and I aim to look as masculine as possible with the aim to transition into a man; because I’m a biological woman, I’d have to use the woman’s toilets, but because I look so masculine, will I get attacked because people think I’m a man? People think I’m a man preying on women? But I’m a biological women, and these are the toilets people want me to use. So…what’s it gonna be? Put biological women who’ve transitioned into men at risk in women’s toilets or just letting anyone wee where they want? (And yes, there has been cases of trans men getting attacked in women’s toilets because others have mistakenly thought they were men going into women’s toilets)

Yes it is acceptable to me, and no I wouldn't judge you That is you. But can I use a urinal properly? Nope

In closing.. us women are still here. If you took 100 women and 100 men and put them on a island . In 100 years that island would be thriving. Now if you took 100 men and 100 transgender men. Guess what you will have? Skeletons in the same timeframe. You all have the right to feminine like us women. But don't say you are.

Someone built a wee shed during lockdown to do hairdressing in as they couldn’t work in their salon and they needed the money

Now that little shed is up for £220,000. It’s listed as a one bed bungalow. It’s literally in someone’s back garden and is TINY. It’s a fucking SHED

And it’s £220,000. To buy. What the fuck. My granny died and she had a three bed house in a neighbouring town and we struggled to sell it for £450,00!!! And the towns are only ten mins apart. Only difference is one is a uni town. Actually ridiculous. And I just checked the shed listing and it’s offers OVER £220,000. Fucking yikes

"Unpopular but landlordism should be illegal in my opinion and access to housing should be accessible and affordable for all.

Yep yep yep yep yep

It’s disgusting

I live in a uni town and the rent is disgusting. Tiny one bedroom (not a one bed flat, literally just A FUCKING BEDROOM) for like £2000 a month. Ridiculous

You get it. I just… yeah Honestly I pay 250 dollars more on mortgages on 3 houses. Here Florida and Massachusetts. It's what pt want. There I learned by being there is healthcare. I agree in that aspect. Yet basic needs are not met.

Oooohhhhhhhh you live in America "

duh

"Parking your car in the street when your drive is empty.

(I realise this is me being a moany cunt myself after my earlier post about them!)"

Hate that so much

In our street (that has 88 houses) about 1/3 have drive ways, and then there’s EIGHT car parks that can fit about 12 cars in each of them

And where do people fucking park???

On the road outside their house

It’s a death trap and it’s a struggle to drive through

You get it. I just… yeah

And I just checked the shed listing and its offers OVER £220,000. Fucking yikes"

Stop?! This is truly disgusting. Over £220k. Housing should be available for everyone that’s depressing as fuck man

And you know what, some of the ‘houses’ are four in a block, so wee flats basically. So they take up even less room than 88 single houses would!!! Winds me up proper

Healthcare isn’t all that either tbh. Both have been wrecked by successive governments

"5 days out of 7 at work"

Four day working week will hopefully be the standard soon (wishful thinking)

May had three weeks with bank holidays, which meant four day working weeks. And everyone loved it! Worked harder, enjoyed more time off

I would rather have 3 houses to choose from them to have universal healthcare for everyone. My houses are a investment. To my future family . Is government controlled healthcare going to guarantee your housing ? Nope.

I'd be happy with one house and knowing that kids whose parents don't give a fuck about something as basic as their teeth had access to an NHS dentist.

and yet here we are. You claim happiness with 0 and me with 3 . Ironic statement. I guarantee my 3 will outlast your bravado for others. Why is that ? So you can't complain when your situation is self inflicted now can you ? " Government " housing . It's a joke. pay your 2000 a month in rent. I prefer that 2 grand going to my family instead of government control. You all are bitching about government and what they can do you for you. Yet... No individualism . Strange concept for me.
