Do you still have it? Have you worn it again? Have you dyed it and used it for something else? Do tell

I still have it. Its ivory, long and gorgeous (biased obviously). Was going to have it made into a cocktail dress as no sentimentality attached anymore. Or may give it to my daughter.

Mine is still hanging up in the wardrobe with all my other dresses. It's a white summer dress rather than a traditional wedding dress. But I've only ever worn it once since our wedding day. I wore it in our 10th anniversary. Firstly to prove that I could still fit into it. Secondly because it seemed like a hot thing to do for when we had a friend come round for a threesome. It didn't stay on long

Mines is in storage. I’m keeping it for when my girls grow up and hopefully get married to make them something special with it

I wondered if anyone would be saving it for their children. I remember trying my mum's on as a teenager and laughing at the style. But if you're hoping to use parts, then I'm sure that'll still be good

Oh god no, I wouldn’t expect them to want to wear it. I just thought it would be a nice gift on their wedding day to have the material made into a little keep sake. I haven’t thought of what yet though

It hung in a wardrobe and then I cut the hoops skirt out for a cousin-in-law who was getting married and was going to pay £15 for one.

That was a lot of money back then so I told her mum she could have mine and alter it.

Then, I threw the dress away.

I wished I'd kept it for a while, as the material could have been used for Christening gowns.

It’s spent 17 years vacuum packed in the loft, until this year, where I’ve turned into a corset and dress that I’m hoping to get fucked in and send pics to hubby

"Mrs Village Idiot had hers cut up and turned into memory bears. "

Wish I'd done that.

My dress was Chantilly lace and little pink rosebuds.

Chams or Socials

I have 2 - one from previous marriage is still in the loft somewhere & one from T in the wardrobe. I want it altered so I can wear again.

Only worn it again for a pic on here, actually! It's in a sealed bag in a wardrobe.....

In the middle

I had mine bagged up for 20 years, unfortunately when I left my last house it was left behind in the loft as I forgot all about it in the move

Borrowed it because I didn’t want to get married in the first place, so I returned it.

I even get the credit for the genius idea.

Otherwise it would still be gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere.

For anyone interested, there's a company in West Sussex who specialises in cleaning wedding dresses then mounting them in a large frame to hang on the wall. (perhaps the bulkhead over the stairs?).

Called 'The beautiful frame company' Welldiggers farm, Hill Lane, Barnham, Bognor Regis, po22 0bn 01243 936432 They did one for me, excellent service and a great idea rather than hanging in the wardrobe.

It's under my bed, I can't fit in it anymore. It wasn't a normal dress it was a Chinese black silk dress.

I wear it to a few parties after the wedding.

Mine was a tailored suit, made by a young designer just starting out. I wore it a few times afterwards on special occasions and now it's in the loft.

I threw mine in a bin at the services when my ex gave it back to me. The wedding had been cancelled due to him cheating and then I left when he assaulted me.

Mine sat in the loft for years, then I gave it to a charity to make clothing for babies born sleeping.
