Reports that in a place called Greenwich, where time was actually invented that the council a secretly planning to ban ice cream vans from 22 streets to stop engine idling and causing an obstruction. One way to get around this nosense on a day out in Greenwich is to simply bring your own.

If I had to take my own ice cream to Greenwich then it would have melted long before I got there.
That said, with the price of a Mr Whippy these days I'd just nip in the nearest supermarket and buy 6 for the price of a 99 (with or without a flake).

They should ban councils that ban ice cream vans. Preposterous nonsense. Cancel culture is the even more evil extension of political correctness. It's a disease, and will give rise to the far right and ultimately be counter productive, but our leaders are too stupid and are the wagging tail of the dog that is the media / loud mouthed over represented minorities.  |
