The joys of my job means I work alternate weekends....anyone else do the same or are you a lucky devil and do the usual Mon-Fri? x

I used to work 4 on 4 off which meant working 3 whole weekends and 2 half weekends in 8. Mrs used to work every other Sunday. Made arranging meets even more awkward around the kids! Both now M-F but I have had trouble adjusting to less days off.

I’m one of the lucky ones and work Mon-Fri.

Before this job I’ve always worked in education so again Monday to Friday, when studying though part time jobs always included weekends

Yeah I work weekends….I don’t love it but I’ve worked weekends basically since I was a teenager haha for now it’s alright but I am working on getting out of that routine and hopefully having a more social one

I used to work every weekend a few years ago, job before this one was every other weekend and current job is 8-4 Monday to Thursday and 8 - 3.30 on a Friday. Can do overtime if need be and the odd Saturday but not compulsory

Not any more. When I first started out I'd have to work weekends and yeah, it wasn't ideal for a social life. At all.

My job is mostly Mon-Fri, but we do have to cover weekends. It's not a set rota, though, so e.g. I'm working 17th and 18th, off the following weekend.Working the weekend after, but no weekends for another 4 weeks.
