I would go back to my earliest teen years and come out as Bi and be proud, and definately lose the inhibitions and inferiority complex about myself my parents instilled into me. It took far far too long to break free. |

I’d like to go back to just before major scientific discoveries and ruin them for the people, like Newton just figuring out gravity I’d be like oh you’ve only just worked that out I knew about that years ago

I wouldn't want to go back to any time for longer than a few hours at a time. If that were possible I'd like to try bronze age Britain and Saxon Britain maybe a medieval city and possibly rural Britain in the 16th century. I'd be quite careful about any skills I showed because it might be quite dangerous as a woman to display knowledge that wasn't previously available. |

First secondary school. Really pushed ahead with learning, making lifelong friends, falling in love, discovering rock music, going out and staying out slightly longer with friends. I'd put my IT skills to good use and get ahead of the game so to speak. |

Ancient Egypt, end of the 4th Dynasty. I'd love to the the pyramids in their original glory, white and smooth-sided.
There are other times and places too,in the ancient and medieval world.
And I'd like to meet Christ, Muhammed and the Buddha, even fleetingly.
As for skills... even a basic 20th century education would put one at an advantage, but I have a degree in Engineering that includes a grounding in all the fundamentals of physics, mechanics, chemistry, dynamic systems... I also have junior officer level military training.
Any royal court would fall over themselves to gain my knowledge and skills. I could easily revolutionise warfare, civil engineering, basic medicine, communications, the list is endless. |
