Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
To the lowest levels in 10 years. One of the theories is that young people are spending more time on the internet, another is the removal of lead from petrol.
What do you think is going on? |

What do you think is going on?" They need to re count, i think its partly that a lot of crimes go unreported. |

I will have to read the full report and not just rely on the news to see if unreported crime is factored into this. There is a survey on the fear of crime that is taken each year. |

I think they move figures round to suit, statistically the government want us to think all is getting better, with the country in a recession/depression i cant see how crime figures will go down as they say as so many people are turning to petty crime etc to survive. |

That's why I was surprised. The suggestion of internet useage keeping rates low did pique my interest as that gives a suggestion of cutting off from society and real people. Maybe shooting things on the screen gives the thrill that comes with violent crime? |

It's the annual figures for adult suicides. I haven't seen the stats on juvenile suicide yet. There was one quote that there were more suicides than RTA deaths. Wales was up 30%. |

possibly but there have been warnings all over the tube/the local news etc about the increase in thefts of high end 'phones' or whatever they are called..
thought the 'experts' concluded there is no link with violence and violent games..?
not so sure personally.. |

Austerity never converted a crook to honesty but it's certainly turned a few decent folk to crime. |
