Anyone know the best way to stop your best friend from making a mistake. He has been with his partner 10 years yes they are happy. 2 years ago he lost his son and bow he has got into union's and strikes in a big way. To the point he is using me tal health to avoid a disciplinary at wotk for imitating a co-worker. He has really struggled and oy just got divorced from ex. I feel he is doing this just to find peace. His future wife is taking the piss and had 2 affairs but he won't see it |

The way I see it is, if he loves her and wants her, it’s not you he’s going home to at night and growing old with, if he’s happy let him be happy, even if you’re not xx (might sound passive aggressive, I don’t mean this to be, this is coming from a place of love) xx |

I suggest you stay out of it and leave your friend to make his own decision. You run the risk of ruining your friendship with him if you start meddling in his relationship. All you can do is be there for him. |

I have seen him hurt to many times and actually stopped him taking his life

"Be there for him as you've said he is your best friend. Before it and after it I will be their but just scared he is gonna get hurt again"
Sadly have to keep out of it & you only see one side of the relationship & issues. As others have said, be there for him if indeed it goes tits up.
Sounds like he could benefit from counselling though. |
