I ended up with someone gorgeous 6 years cos of a d*unk pestering me in a pub
As a diversion, I asked a stranger if I could stand and chat to them until the d*unk stopped pestering me
Turns out the chat led to more drinks, a first night shag and surprisingly, a relationship |

Take an interest in people. It’s that simple. |

Met plenty women offline when younger, never met a man offline without online interaction first.
My gaydar is shite and I don't live anywhere near clubs etc
But even meeting women offline is much more difficult these days |

Observe people, say hello or comment politely and not in a creepy way. Ask easy questions and actively listen ...
Recently talking to a guy at place I swim so asked if he was training for an event..... opened up the conversation.... not a sex related .... I just wanted to chat to him as he swims there alot. |

How far back are we going here?
The best example was probably a bet in a nightclub with two mates, years ago. They were egging me on to pull after I'd split up with my gf, I was all depressed and shit. Then it went into: bet you can't etc. So I bet them £50 each. Went onto the dance floor did the Austin Powers lasoo routine on some girl. They paid up, we got a taxi back to hers.
My favourite though, was in a bar. I went up to a girl took her cigs off her. Did the Zippo trick with her lighter, lit two cigs and put one in her mouth. She smiled and we left the bar hand in hand. This was whilst my mate was trying to chat her up. I owed him one.
Then I was married for 20 years and now it's all emojis and shit. Ok bit of an oversimplification but yeah. |

Offline is far more lucrative for us. We have met 2 people online this year. IRL wins every time. Just start talking to people during your normal day and see how the conversation flows. If you only talk to people with the intention of hooking up with them you're going fail. |

i had a fling with one of the bin men a few years ago. It was during lockdown when i started given them soft drinks and biscuits each week.one got cocky and asked for a cuppa. He came round to my home one night and before we had a cuppa i took him to bed.it led to a few meets after that. |

"That organic interaction is pretty easy and nice. Have you been approached by any men in supermarkets or on the road etc?"
Use 'reply and quote', we haven't got a clue who you are replying to or asking questions to. |

It's the only way it happened in my dating days. Men would approach me in many situations, bus stops, public transport, bars, pubs, clubs, in the street...you name it. We were far less suspicious of each other then I think and way more friendly. |

"Thats great to know. Have you given the green light for anyone who approached in high street or bus stops?"
What do you mean by green light? I wouldn't go off and have sex with them but I occasionally gave them my number and we'd go for a drink or something...then we'd go off and have sex |

I approach people I find interesting if we're in an appropriate location and they appear to be open to interacting with strangers.
If they're busy, or engaged in a task, or have the obvious leave me alone signs like head down or headphones or avoiding eye contact, I leave them the heck alone. |

Regularly and get approached too. Probably the weirdest was the girl in the coffee shop who let me use her toilet. Deliveroo girl too, both complete nutters, but it does happen. |

Supermarket and charity shops. An exhibition, Trains and in the street. Contact details exchanged, left to them make 1st contact. Mixed results, the longest took a year to contact me, the quickest within the week.
Keep it low key, you're not pestering anyone. Gets better with practice, ask someone for directions or a good place to eat. Make a joke, maybe you'll get a response. Tell them they're really rocking their hair/shoes.......
If you have something you can both talk about its easier, i saw that movie, band book. Ask in a shop, which shirt looks better on me.
Starting a conversation is the hardest part, keep it short, be confident not pushy. You're going to get rejected but just look at it as talking to people |

"Amazing ! Thank you its so valuable. Yeah its the fear of rejection we have. I think we are not every ones cup of tea. When there is someone who likes you thats where the things start i guess"
Practice and practice, you'll get there. Don't use the self checkouts, talk to the till operator. Short and sweet, ask them a question, tell them to have a great day, be on your way. |
