couple, us we him her.

When you could only buy lucazade at the chemist,it came in a glass bottle and was wrapped in orange coloured plastic and the only flavour was the original one.

It was given when unwell as a pick me up!

I do and it tasted nothing like it does now. We only had it if we were at death's door.

We just give the kids a hot toddy, minus the water, herbs, honey and spices. They sleep so well

When I was about 11 and recovering from genuine flu mum bought a bottle for me. The label has a misprint and said 'ails ' recovery. I thought I was so clever when I spotted it

Yeah remember that in the 80's and I'm sure nowadays or at least for a while not so long ago the bottles had a disclaimer saying the exact opposite.

That taste of being very unwell.

I drink litres of cherry Lucozade, but one swig of the original and I'm transported back to my parents' sofa, covered in spots with a temperature, watching cartoons under a blanket.

Surrey mostly when over

Yes I remember that. Can’t stand the stuff myself, but the building with the lights on the A4 Flyover going into London always reminds me of childhood and excitement about going into London.

Xx

I still think of it as the hospital drink.

It used to be a glucose drink really great for diabetic hypos but when the sugar tax came in, they took most of the glucose out.

It is no longer recommended by the British Diabetic association as a remedy for a hypo so is basically pointless now.
