I'm interested to hear of other people's experiences of this type of thing. Whether you were in the couple or the boyfriend/girlfriend involved
Obviously, I am talking of mutual awareness - not looking for cheating stories thanks! 
In particular, a scenario where someone joins you as a couple, but then also has a 'relationship' with one of you alone inbetween
Did it work for you?
Was it something you could do long term?
Did you find someone changed their mind along the way?
Did it have a negative impact on home/family life?
Someone close by, or a bit of distance between you?
What expectations/rules were there?
I'm interested in the logistics and pros/cons

I was girlfriend to a husband for 2 years, the couple chose their boundaries first, then mine were added in and agreed to, he was local and we met weekly and It only ended when they relocated abroad. They are seasoned swingers with 15 years experience though, I think that's a big reason, why she could share him emotionally with me for such a long time |

I was the girlfriend to the husband with the wife having a boyfriend for well over a year. All the boundaries were very clearly stated beforehand and agreed to. It was a lot of fun tbh OP and worked well for all parties involved.
It only ended as I moved away  |

Honestly, polyamory actually saved our relationship.
We have both had other partners but every other Miss has gotten involved with has ended up giving her a "you have to choose me or him" ultimatum.  |

I’m poly. Both my gf (nesting partner) and I have other partners that we’ve been with for over a year. I like it. It works for us. And I’d recommend for those that can do poly or feel like they are poly. |

Mt ex wife had 3 FWB that she used to meet with. Especially when either of us were away working. A few times she took the one guy with her for a working weekend away pretending he was her husband. Loved knowing that she was meeting them abd getting fucked then coming home. Or even inviting them round and i woukd ve downstairs listening to her moaning and the bed banging |
