Prince Harry's legal fight with the Home Office to have police protection in Britain has already cost UK taxpayers £300,000, another £500,000 is likely for the current court case costs against the tabloids.

Should we be paying for this.

This. I'd rather pay for Prince Harry than some fat cat's expenses for lobster, caviar and illegal proclivities.

There’s a lot of things we shouldn’t have to pay for but unfortunately thanks to law and government, we do.

That's down to the government.

He wanted the ability to fund protection when in the UK himself, but the government said no.

Their argument was that 'rich people' should not use the police as private security, forgetting that regardless of him stepping down from official duties he's still a member of the British Royal family.

They could easily have just said yes, avoided the court case and saved the taxpayers money.

But they didn't.

Like him or not he's not just some 'rich person'. They were just trying to make a point. A pointless one.

"Would you rather pay for mps to have nice duck ponds?"

Duck walks into Westminster. The MP says "who is going to pay for your pond?"

The duck says "I don't care, as long as we're not paying for that fucking Prince Harry"

Boris Johnson is getting hundreds of thousands of pounds of legal support, despite earning £millions since losing the PM job. Try getting £1 of legal aid if you're a regular citizen. . I think the king could foot the bill, as he should for his coronation.
