"Cases of STDs are climbing in the UK according to the news today!
Anyone heard of any case close to them? "
STD'S have been on the increase for years.
London used to be 01. Then they changed to 071 & 081. Then they became 0171 & 0181. Then 0207 & 0208. Then 2020 the 0204 code was added.
Everyone has an STD close to them and it will vary depending on where they live.

The full news story is that they have increased following record low levels over around 2020 mainly due to Covid, a couple of specific STDs are now above the pre Covid level.
It’s admitted that some of the rise is due to an increase in testing but it’s clear cases are increasing; mainly in those in the 15 to 24 age bracket who statistically are more are risk of STDs |

Unless your going to stop having sex completely the risk is there. If people read the side effects of most medications you would probably wouldnt take it, same as driving theres a possibility of death but people do it. Everything in life comes with risks including sex.
Its just about managing it thats all and setting a level where your okay with said risk |

The term std is outdated, it’s better to refer to them as STI’s due to shame connotations around the word disease.
Also this highlights what Frankie was doing about three weeks ago, trying to get people testing regularly! |
