Breasts done 6 weeks ago. First week was a lot more painful than I thought (it was placed under the muscle so a lot more invasive than other locations) but after the first week it was OK. Keeping the area dry for 3 weeks was a challenge though! Overall not too bad, would do it again in a flash. |

I have had the following
Facial Feminisation - loved it was great made me look female
2 x Boob Jobs - yes I love my big tits awesome awesome , totally get them done again when I need to .
Various minor bits under cosmetic such as filler lips / lasers / skin surfacing etc
Have more surgery booked next year to finish off my face and rejuvenate my eye/lower area etc just little knocking some years off. fat transfer to areas in face where fat naturally recedes with age ...
no problems other than I have very minor nerve damage to part of my Lower moth from the FFS which I was prewarned is a possibility but was worth the risk for me
Surgery for me has been to function in society as a woman (as I am trans gender ) the facial work was mind blowing and the change to being able to just be accepted in day to day life once healed up from that .. (was back in 2010/11 now when I had it done )
If you go surgery dont go cheap its about researching and meeting various surgeons, getting before afters/ feebdack/references and making informed choice on whom you feel is most suited

Worked in California for a bit and the number of people, chiefly women, who told me about being given a surgery of their choice by their parents, for their 18th or 21st birthday, was huge. If everyone else is doing it, obviously it becomes normal.
No objection to people doing as they wish, but I fondly prefer the physically crooked and charming untouched cragginess of us Brits.
(No offense intended to those free of all cragginess, imperfection, blemish or minor physical oddity.) |

I have breast cancer I've been lucky so far I haven't needed a mastectomy, but I have had 2 operations to remove tumors and I had my breast reconstructed at the same time, my surgeon was amazing he has done a fantatic job of the reconstruction can't really see any difference in my breast, pain hasn't been too bad just nerve pain really and soreness. I have thought over the years about having a boob job, tbh this has cured me of that I am a total wuss when it comes to surgery I have found out! |

I had a lumpectomy when I was 26. I didn’t get a reconstruction as they used chemo wafers ( no longer recommended for breast cancer) over the years the breast kind of evened out and vaguely matched the other. I’m aware of the difference but most people don’t notice, I still have a large scar but again it faded out people don’t seem to notice.
Another shout for nerve damage. I’ve had multiple ops for other non cosmetic things and nerve damage is so easy to do and the most irritating after.
