It's weird isn't it how a band who have sold 100 million albums apparently have no fans...?

Their first few albums are great..

I'm not really fussed about them nowadays.

But for me The Unforgettable Fire is their best album.

I like the sound of the album but I think there are only 5 great songs on that one. MLK, Elvis etc don't go much

The Unforgettable Fire followed by Achtung Baby (with an honourable mention to Zooropa).

Bono is an acquired taste.

i started following them in the early 80s my first concert was at Roundhay Park Leeds, PopMart 97, since then i went to every tour they done up to the 360 tour, often songs of innocence album i kinda lost interest, they were the best at live shows, PopMart and Zoo TV tours were a sceptical and hearing Streets live and being in that crowd was euphoric, but these days I hardly ever listen to them.

In terms of album, i have 3, Achtung Baby, Zooropa and The Jashua Tree

Each to their own , fans of them Worldwide can't be wrong , have sold out stadiums, sold millions of records, have some great songs , they have their fans ..and l say this as a non fan , have never bought an album ..never seen them live on stage ..they weren't or aren't my type of music , as l said they have a few songs I'd listen to if they came on the radio etc but huge Salute to them for making it . ..Bono would be a great singer if he just sang but he wants to tell you how to live your life too

I was at the Roundhay park gig in Leeds, believe they came out of a giant lemon to the tune Lemon.

Was a big fan of their music but listen more to Bono’s son band Inhaler now.

I’ve got a real soft spot for Rattle n Hum, a tip of the hat to some of my favourite music genres and hearing it takes me back to some happy times in my life.

‘War’ I understand why people dislike them now but this is a great album that introduced them to the World. I would argue not a bad track on it.

‘Boy’ was also good but ‘War’ is my personal favourite.
