I couldn't pick one but the following are great albums and have wonderful memories for me.

If I'm down and want to be happy, putting on The Lounge Kittens always makes me smile, otherwise if imliw and want to wallow I listen to a playlist.. Fade to Black by Metallica is always on there, Somebody that I used to know, the 3 days grace version , one mote light by Linkin Park.... that sort of stuff |

To be fair they do have some amazing bangers.
And still the only rock band in history (until Metal band Sabaton did it) to belt out their most famous Christmas song no matter what time of the year it is ![](/icons/s/2/eh.gif) |

Don't think I have any album that lightens my day. I'm sure that I must have at one time, but now even though I still love music and it plays a big part in the background of my life, everything just seems serious and sombre. |
