I'm ontop of the washing, the mountain of clean clothes have been put away without throwing it all back in the corner of the room for another day.

It's the little things

How about you?

Well done! I could incinerate toast if I was left alone in the kitchen

Serendipitous thread, I was just reflecting on what was a surprisingly productive day. I got a lot done for what was meant to be a non productive day. Car is a bit cleaner outside. Made pizza. Caught up on my podcasts. Swopped out a PSU in a PC. But the part that I'm happiest about was fitting 2 new tyres to my road bike.

Even got time to do some shitposting in between.

Meeting up with my daughters father and having a chat to clear the air, he’s been absent all her life (she’s 21) but she recently got into contact with him and he told her he’d wanted to reach out so many times over the years but never knew what to say. He’s a completely changed man from the arrogant dickhead I met all those years ago, and I’m very proud of him for stepping up for our daughter!

I haven't worn a jacket in few days now. I'm loving it ps. Sorry I lied. I had to wear it when out and about early in the morning but that's only because sun wasn't fully out yet.

May it lasts.

Finally finished the bastard wall at the back of my garden that I instantly regretted and wished I’d just put a fence up back when first started. Not so much finishing made me happy it was doing it with my son he’s 15 and finishing school in a week and already far more capable than I was at that age in building work just on the labouring tasks at minute I took him for a full day at work properly last Sunday and it was a tough day and he performed brilliantly better than a lot of grown men I’ve had.

So proud of the man he’s becoming and that he chose to live with me, know his grandad would be so proud too if he was here to see him

I went for a walk with a friend. We did some grocery shopping, grabbed some coffee and walked through an old cemetery.. whilst there, we bumped into this lovely lady with a rescue greyhound. Shared a good moment, dog cuddles and some touching stories. I loved dog's name - LiBee. Spelt with a '-bee' as the lady has lots of love for the buzzing little ones. Made me smile.
