I think nerves are natural

Most soon adjust

I think worrying about nerves can become something of a self-fulfilling prophecy though

So, accept the nerves and don't sweat it

Carlisle usually

Um.

It depends on the person. And my mental state at the time.

I've met people with a very much fuck it we'll just see how it goes easy breezy feeling in the lead up, and I've met people where I spend the eternity before meeting overthinking and worrying that I'm going to fuck it up by being a weirdo.

At the very start of this lifestyle I did. I'd probably be a bit nervous if I did meet one on one again as it's been four years since I met anyone outside of CJ's x

Excited nerves, and the tend to last for a few meets. I'd be worried if they wasn't there as it would make me think I just wasn't that into them.

Have had full blown, not really myself nerves a few times as well.

Always with a first meet I’m a combination of nervous and excited pretty much in equal parts. Obviously the build up if you’ve been chatting a while helps create that excitement, however it’s that nervousness whether the meet will fulfill the fantasy that you’ve built up during that chatting period & whether you or they live up to one and other’s expectations in reality. X

Always super nervous, but also excited, for a 1st meet. Ive normally been chatting with them for a bit by then so know that we should get on, but still nervous. Then even after im feeling comfortable with them, I always get nervous and shy all over again when I get the feeling that something sexy is about to happen. X

I had a few meets via my last profile and I was nervous every time.

I felt more comfortable each time but still nervous.

I'd liken it to a footballer getting pre-game nerves. You know the pitch, you know your game but the opponent changes so the butterflies start fluttering.

If I met a couple I think I’d be very nervous and is why I’ve never done it I think. Meeting women I don’t get nervous anymore since being on dating apps and getting used to getting out more. But at socials I’d be nervous still. I get nervous around people in general and get really worried and stressed about being disliked in person

Hello stranger! WB!

Very good analogy, I've always had the nerves mixed with excitement, nerves because you dont know how it will go, excitement because it could be a really good thing.

I’ve been out on quite a few dates through dating apps but I imagine I’d have a bit more butterflies in the stomach should a meet be arranged, I guess but that’s down to the nature of the site.

I always feel some nerves and have butterflies in my stomach, but it's a nervous excitement which is good. It's a huge thrill to think you'll be naked and intimate with a complete stranger very shortly, it's a real buzz for me.

I do. One of the (many) reasons I don’t meet anymore. Far too troubling. If I’m going to put myself through the trauma of leaving the house, making conversation with someone new then it’s going to have to be for more than a quick knee trembler.

I’d be concerned if not a little nervous. It’s overridden with excitement but there has to be a little nerves, for me if they aren’t there then I shouldn’t be.

Nerves let you know that you’re looking forward to what might happen

Every single time. The world is a scary place so I do my best to meet in public for a social first before any sort of fun. Better safe than sorry.

Also allows for a casual chat with no expectations on either side. I'm not your cup or tea? No issues, just move on and vice versa. No feelings hurt

Nervous/excited/butterflies, it's all good. They are all signs that you're invested and hope this works. If you're not these things then why are you meeting at all?

Do one thing every day that scares you.....for me that's opening the mail, bloody bills.
