Gloucester Cheese Chasing

Gloucester is famous for Dr Foster who went there once and latterly for chasing a cheese down a hill. It's called Gloucester cheese rolling but police and ambulances won't routinely attend despite the carnage of sezures, broken legs, ankles and head injuries. Not to mention the poor buggers at risk of being hit by the giant cheese. Tom has never seen cheeserolling because Essex is a pretty flat country and we are not famous for our cheese. No police or ambulances on standby. But how long before do gooders want this event banned or throw orange powder onthe track. What's going on here guys. It's all over the news

I know the price of cheese has gone up but that’s quite extreme

If you're going to be silly enough to chase a giant wheel of cheese down a hill and get hurt then it's your own fault and the already overstretched nhs shouldn't have to deal with the aftermath...

Thought the Doc was famous for stepping in puddles right up to his middle and then he left Gloucester for good.

And add football, rugby, boxing, skiing to the list etc

It's Gloucestershire national sport. The only thing to put this characterless place on the map

There were 4 races this year. Sometimes there are six.

One race is for women.

No, she fell over and bumped her head. She only realised she had won when she woke up in the medical tent.

Tom, I'm surprised you didn't read about it. It's all over the news.

Glyn is a great up and coming fab reporter.

Has anyone actually tasted this Glouctershire cheese?

Is it as bland as they say.

I would wait at the bottom and grab the giant cheese that way.

I would rather be famous for cheese rolling than TOWIE and Gemma Collins personally
