She can do what ever she likes in my book.
He should find something else to nibble on. Her would be my suggestion
Not sure that really helps but the answer of will power doesn't really cut it |

I went cold turkey. Just stopped one day. Nearly drove me mad tbh. Gel polish manis helped. Could pick at it instead of the nail. Eventually stopped picking at the polish and now I have seriously lovely long nails. I didn’t stop biting them til I was 25, I used to rip them down to the bit. Now I cannot bear to see a bitten fingernail…but I can’t play fast piano as well as I used to |

I was a nail biter for years..it wasn't until my late 30s I stopped..I don't know why I suddenly stopped but I did...not that I have long nails now because I do a lot of manual work...but my nails have remained unbitten.. |

Sometimes these things are not as easy to stop. I was talking to a friend yesterday who suffers from bruxism and its really quite bad and nothing seems to work so far for her. They say that there is always an underlying cause to all these things, usually stress and nervous disposition but obviously it can be different for everyone. Good luck with your situation and hope you drop the habit soon |
