Reports that schools in Utah, which surprizingly is actually a landlocked State within the USA. They have banned the bible in some of it's schools because of it's vulgarity and violence. What's going on here guys. It's all over the news. Should the bible be banned in our schools |

According to the ridiculous book banning fear craze sweeping Red states in the US, yeah the bible - and just about every abrahamic religious text - should be banned.
The Christian bible is abysmal. Full of deity sanctioned and glorified rap*, genocide, slav*ry, parricide, infanticide, inc*st, racism, and not even starting on all the "crimes" that *require* the death penalty.
The fact the book is given any reverence in today's world is unfathomable. |

Anyone who thinks the Bible does *not* contain vulgarity and violence simply hasn't read it.
However, I suspect that the parent who put in the complaint was more interested in making a point about the silly banning of books. |

"I remember drawing a big pair of tits with a jizm splodge on a bible in school "
I went to a Catholic school in the the very early 1970's and did the same thing lol.
In my opinion ALL religion teaching should be removed and band from all schools.
Religion has NO place in education in my mind. In fact it's a distraction to education. Leave kids to get on with being EDUCATED rather than indoctrinated. |
