I crochet, have tiled a bathroom, built a wall, landscaped a few gardens, put together flat pack furniture, put up shelves, I can cook, know how to clean my washing machines filter, fix the flush on a toilet, fix venetian blinds and re pressurise a boiler, amongst other things...
