I do that now and again and it feels good when you do it as well, the next thing that I will donate is just one thing this time, it is a word quiz game where you will form a word with individual square letters.
Do you donate and what will you be donating? |

"My daughters old things to baby banks.
We donate money to some monthly.
And clothes also. "
At uni I used to donate all my leftover foods (that were eligible) to foodbanks at the end of the year when I went home for summer. And told my friends to do the same. So tell a student to tell a student x |

I have a gourgeous pair of little high heeled black boots I took out still in box! Have never worn them! To high for me to walk in! I must do a few picks for here in them before I give them to charity x |

I donate all my unwanted clothing and shoes. Also toiletries and makeup I give to a charity called the hygiene bank. I’ve done huge collections of winter clothes and distributed to the street sleepers personally. I don’t give money to charities because a lot of them pay management an obscene amount that imo could be better spent on the people who need it. I’ll give cash to people directly and ask if they want food or drink |

Yes, when I can. My mum has been involved with Cats Protection for years, so usually donating things to their local shop, but also helped to raise money for a local homeless charity |

In an ideal world there should be no need but that kind of utopia will never be. Yes I do try to do my bit whether is clothes, household items like furniture or bits of money and my own time from time to time. I try and choose charities that do most good and for causes close to my heart. It's difficult for a lot of people at the moment who are struggling and some may not be able to be as generous as they were or not able to at all. |

Rarely worn clothes go to charity shops and we sponsor one off charity events and give our times plus have a couple of monthly donations going out. I've run monthly donations for years even when I couldn't really afford it so started at £2 as it all adds up. Flik also runs an Amazon account where an amount is donated to her chosen charity with every purchase so her friends use it for all their orders.
We've found the most appreciated thing to give is time and influence. |

I donate on a regular basis, I have a policy of if I have not used an item within the last 12 months bin it or donate it.
Clothes, kitchenware, books, small items of furniture and anything that I have on Ebay which has not sold within 1 month. |

All the time, if it’s to good for the tip it goes to the charity shop, the kids are fully aware that we give their old toys to less fortunate children, because not all children are lucky enough to have toys.

Top tip, your charity shop can claim gift aid if you are a UK tax payer and sign up!
I donate clothes to my local shop
Anything 'auctionable' goes onto my local cat charity auction
I give money to other (animal/environmental) charities |

I think that last bit its so important so that they learn compassion for others less fortunate. |

We donate all the time. The children’s old clothes and toys. I do a lot of charity work with my free time as well. I did used to go out with lunches and necessities for the homeless, but unfortunately I don’t have as much free time anymore.

I’m really careful with everything I get rid of. If it can have a second life then I donate it.
I try to make sure I separate things out good quality clothes go to charity shops, clothes that are damaged go to textile recycling.
Furniture that is damaged goes to a local charity that teaches people how to repair and upcycle items. They sell on the furniture and reinvest the money
I worked got charities for years, I only donate money to small local charities, large charities have so much wastage. |

Food to the local foodbank. When I go to Tesco, I often buy extra stuff and drop it in the collection point.
I'm a member of the co-op. When I buy any own brand items, the co-op also makes a contribution to local causes (you can choose which one 'yours' goes to). |

I donate every few months. I have a donor reference so they can claim Gift Aid. They also send me an email saying how much money my stuff raised which makes me feel good so I donate again. |

Yep we donate things regularly, as soon as we've finished with them as long as they're still in very good condition. When I volunteered in a charity shop some of the stuff people sent in was insulting.
I'm glad we can do it because it saves us having to dispose of them some other way so they're doing us a service really. |

I've done qutte a lot of charity work over the years when I look at some of my exes!
In all seriousness, yes I do. I donate clothes, shoes etc and I also love to buy from charity shops too.
I've also done my fair share of fundraising. Abseiling down the forth rail bridge, bungee jumps, Fire walk and kilt walk. |

Yes, we do. I would rather things we no longer needed but still have life in them, be rehoused and bring joy to someone else. We have one charity shop we are signed up to but we also use the charity bins at the supermarket.

Not anymore, too many times now they've rejected things bc they're inundated. For me carrying boxes and pushing a buggy at the same time is difficult to juggle so I'm not inclined to now when there's a high chance it won't be accepted. I give things away on FB now. |

No so much now but when I used to shop too much yes. I did retail gift aid too which is a really good idea for the giver and the charity to get all the tax back.
Now if I do have unwanted things, I try to give to friends or people I know like drivers, housemaids etc as gifts knowing they are being used. I still give percentage of income I have all my working life but that’s very personal.

Yes constantly, I'm forever buying clothes that I later don't like or wrong size so they end up in charity shop. As does anything I've bought and don't use. I have a clear out just about every other month. |

"I have just rehomed 2 dogs from Woodgreen animal charity does that count "
Nope, but I love it!
I have always rescued animals and foster for a charity.
I do donate, to my local animal charity, and regularly take my daughters' cast offs to my local branch of a national childrens' charity.
I have held coffee mornings for a certain cancer charity too.
I don't have a lot of money, so tend to give my time and effort, instead. |

I never EVER donate to the large corporate charities personally because the CEO's take huge salaries and live in huge homes. I actually do a hell of a lot of charity work with the homeless in my local area and down in London. I regularly do fundraising for food banks and soup kitchens too, I've been known to pass by a homeless person and sit down next to them and have a good chat with them after giving them some food and drink and hygiene products. They get judged so badly when a lot of them really are just normal people that are down on their luck. Some people really are so interesting |

Whatever I have that I don't need, goes to charity shops. I buy for the food bank collection, give money to the homeless, a yearly Christmas box to impoverished kids, a direct debit to a wildlife fund... I give money when I can afford it, usually to local causes, or trusted bigger ones. I wanted to give blood and a liver lobe too but I'm not healthy enough. I don't have a lot to give the world, so helping gives me a little purpose. Y'all who give are awesome.
