Within the last few months changing financial markets has claimed Comet, Jessops, HMV and Blockbuster. Any guesses what others will follow?

HMV haven't gone yet. It was only Jessop's Photography group. Julian Graves went but that was just nuts! House of Fraser may go as their owner is £billions in debt & only out on bail from a Swiss court.

Pmsl although I thought the disgruntled customers stuck around and posted threads moaning about this, that and the other.

Well I'very seen two stores closing down In Inverness only today. One small retailer of mens (younger mens that is) shoes and fashion. The other a Toymaster store.

I think a major mens retailer could go soon. Men don't shop for clothes as much as women and I suppose even a modest shift into online sales could hurt badly. So possibly the TopMan arm of Topshop?

If they insist on producing clothes marketed at grown men, but wearable only by 12 year old girls they will be going very quickly!!

The obesity epidemic fueled by the need with internet, to never leave your couch until the fire brigade come to cut you out. If your stupid enough to let it happen which many are. Who needs shops anymore welcome to the cyber universe of the future. Start up a courier buisnes while you can.
