There's a bar in Hurghada in Egypt that has the letters P,U & B on the front of the building.

Whoever put the letters up was an Arabic speaker, as on the side of the building a second sign spells, "BUP!'

"Used to see fans around Bow belonging to a locksmith called Bow Locks."

Before they re-vamped the roads in that area there was a sign announcing 'British Waterways Bow Locks' which you could see when coming or going via the Blackwall Tunnel.

Transsexual Transylvania

There is a Christian bookshop chain in South Africa. Their name is Afrikaans - Christelike Uitgewermaatskappy (Christian Publishing Company). Unfortunately (and totally unironically) they use their acronym for their shops. We used to have a Beavis and Butthead moment every time we were in the local mall and walked past the large, bright neon sign for

"CUM Books"
