Say you won the top prize, now what? Are you still going to the garden centre today?

What colour are you going for? Apparently there are 16 prime colours. I like yellow and white

No, I'd ring my children and sister and start looking online for holidays and houses.

I don't know what garden I'll have to decide which plants to buy.

I'd sit down and have a good long think about the future.

Probably go camping in a remote location for a few days and let it sink in not make any rash decisions.

"Say you won the top prize, now what? Are you still going to the garden centre today? "

I’m doing nothing until I have the money in my bank account.

Then the first order of business is to tell all the pricks at work what I actually think of them.

Followed by a nice holiday.

New house.

New holiday house.

New car, wardrobe etc.

Buy a couple of wives from the shop.

FFS, so much to do!

"I'd be happy with a couple of hundred thousand"

I thought Branson had a good idea when he put his bid in for the lottery. He felt there should be a million win cap. He felt people winning vasts amounts of money often left lots of money sat in banks invested. A million was enough to pay off a mortgage, buy a car, treat yourselves and your family etc. The money basically spent mostly in this country by multiple million pound winners. A million is enough to make a huge change in your life.

What would be life changing money for some might not be to others

Some months an extra couple of hundred pounds would change my life, never mind a million. I suppose that alters our perceptions

"Say you won the top prize, now what? Are you still going to the garden centre today? "

Too right! I’d buy a pair of those Acer trees instead of just the one I currently have my eyes on. And I’d buy the mega expensive pottery pots to put them in, instead of the faux ones.

Bugger the expense!

First thing I would is to work out how much interest I would get and that would be free money to do what I wanted without worrying about dipping into the amount.

I would then look at abandoned houses to buy and also businesses.

I’m not the type of person to retire and sit around all day doing nothing.

I would also look at holiday homes for sale and see if there are any of specific interest. Maybe Italy, France and Spain

Down to Primark to get some holiday clothes, make up a few sandwiches for the airport and then off to a 3 star all inclusive in Benidorm for a week before loading the case up with cheap ciggies to flog down the pub when we get back.
