It's now in freeze mode under my chair.

Anyone else had a random and unexpected brush with wildlife?

I have had baby hedgehogs lick my ankles. It seemed to happen if I had cocoa butter body cream on.

And no one has made a pun about little pricks. Disappointed.

Just nudge me again with your nose would you, I'm not entirely sure you're still there.

Did you try mewling like a cat at the bottom of the chimney to try to scare it off?

A roe deer once brushed my bumper as it gracefully traverced the road. It tasted amazingly good.

Does a roe deer taste gamey but with a hint of fish eggs?

Ooh.I also once had an encounter on a hilltop near Brecon with a wild miniature pony.

(No. Nothing transgressive happened. Iy came up to me,I spoke to it, it nickered at me,I gave it a little scratch on it's head while the rest of its cute pygmy family frolicked and gambolled around me)

We spotted a baby hedgie next to a main road during the day last year. Obviously either lost mum, or she'd been squished

It was tiny, so called local vets as the hedgehog rescue was shut. They said to fetch it in so we did. For reference it was around the size of a bar of soap

Now that sounds like a cute critter(in a cute story).

Wouldn't recommend washing with it though.

all the time . My most shocking was going to my jeep on the way to work and I spooked a Bruin. He towered over my jeep. I didn't see him he was on the driver's side. I almost preed my pants.

They have a wonderfully adorable furtive scamper about them.

I'm swooning at the thought of the cute feet.

Think I have cute overload.

What's a bruin? That's made me scared. It sounds like a mythical creature from a Stephen King/Gaiman novel!

Oh Jesus Christ!

What happened? Did you have the ol eyes meeting and locking with a wild beast moment?

Or did you do a Timothy Treadwell and start cooing at it like a parent chastising a naughty child?

Happens to me all the time, there’s this one Coyote that follows me everywhere trying to kill me! I’d be walking along and there’s explosions, bangs and crashes and ACME boxes scattered around.

Meep meep!

Corvids are ace. I have a running battle going on between a pair of magpies and a particularly persistent crow. I think it's trying to reach their nest

I woke up to a fox trying to get in the house the other morning. Luckily one of the cats must've stopped him in his tracks.

I love hedgehogs.

Coyote I believe it was late and very dark. That was cool.

Sharks that was scary.

Had a squirrel who came in for breakfast everyday for a while.

Lucky the fox wasn't hungry or in desperate need of food for the cubs. The cat wouldn't stand a chance.

I just felt a little nose and was quite overcome.i do like a gentle touch on the ankle.

Must have tasted good because he came back for more.

I was a lucky boy!

In one sense..
