Charlie brooker's got a second series coming out.

I only saw a bit of the first where the prime minister has to fuck a pig live on tv |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I will be. I watched all three. They were all interesting. I think the jealousy angle was well covered. The reality show one was the most chilling, I think.
If you haven't seen them catch up. I was surprised the numbers were so low for it but I think that was probably the Christmas scheduling. |

I've recorded it as I couldn't do concentration this evening. I'm interested to see what else will be explored in this series. |

As with the last series, it showed a very grim vision of an all too possible near future, I really love Charlie Brooker, he has never disappointed with any of his work. |

I enjoyed the first series immensely. I have yet to see a Charlie Brooker thing I don't like. He's a great writer and to top it all he's married to Konnie Huq!
Last weeks Black Mirror I suspect was easing us in gently. Thought it was quite creepy but again a look at what the near future could hold. |

"Wow. Another pretty shit episode.
How many films does he wanna rip off?"
It didn't live up to the hype its fair to say. I wouldn't go as far as shit more a severe skidmark on the pants of evening viewing. |

Maybe we watched different episodes.
I thought it was chilling and a great insight into the present "
Or we have a different opinion. I said to my mate "Bet this is like truman show or running man". And it was |

I didn't think it was like either.
I was kept guessing throughout. Initially I thought it was a take on how society just steps back and watches crime even to the point of filming and uploading but never helping. I felt it was a play on how indifferent to crime we have become.
When it was revealed as a 'justice game' I was put in mind of Jeremy Kyle. The show was, to me , a natural extension of the vile , sanctimony that oozes from Kyle, Trisha et al.
Another chiller for me was the extent to which child abduction and abuse now pervades the media and literature and sells like hot cakes for the entertainment of the masses now hooked on ( whether they like to admit it or not ) 'acceptable' child porn.
And not least of all - the way audiences will unite , become clandestine for want of a better word - staying inside the fold to appear 'holier than thou' , clean and without blame. The mindless mob that doesn't question society but is blindly part of the cause.

This is the first one I've watched and I liked it. I'd certainly not lump it together with drivel like 'Truman' or 'Running man' If I was going to liken to anything in it's aim, I'd go for 'Henry: Portrait of a serial Killer' of course without hearing the writers intent, I'm only going by my own feeling about it... but yeah I thought it was well done really
Truman was a big pile of (slick) pooh |

I thought it as people had smartphones and then then ending with the crowd.
I see the whole desensitising thing. I saw my mate eat his dinner while watching a video of a guy having his throat cut with a blunt knife one time. I couldn't watch it.
Charlie should stick to writing his column and his 'wipe' programs imo |
