Hey all.
I have a penchant for cabin crew uniform.
Does anyone know if cabin crew keep their uniform after they leave and whether there are any forums or sale sites.
I am thinking of stuff like a skirt and scarf etc.
I scoured ebay, vinted etc but no joy. |

Go for some of the more vintage or retro ones associated with defunct air carriers, such as Imperial Airways, BOAC, British Caledonian, Mount Cook Airways, Ansett, Trans Australian Airlines (TAA), Indian Airlines...
There's a certain panache associated with those liveries. |

I remember Dame Edna in her Trans Australian gear. You would have needed a heart of stone not to be aroused. |

I imagine for security reasons people won't be allowed to sell it online. When I worked in finance all old corporate wear had to be sent off for secure destruction, which wasn't very environmentally friendly so it was seen as OK to give to other employees but not anyone outside the company.
You could just buy similar clothing of course - its pretty generic after all.
