Have you noticed the big variation of cucumbers at the supermarket these days? Some are nearly half the size they used to be but quite girthy to be fair and the other half are quite long but hardly any girth to them at all. Not easy to choose. And if you order online, well it's just the luck of the draw I am afraid |

"Prefer the girthy one's they fit into the salad drawer better, sometimes though I have to cut the long one's in half. Some supermarkets sell half cucumbers I always wonder who buys them."
I don’t know why but this has made my eyes water. Thank goodness you don’t grate them. |

I have been known to grate them through I usually just bite into them. |

"Have you ever watched a cucumber being milked OP? It gives me confusing feelings."
Lol, not really. I slice for salads, cut lengthwise for crudités and bite on them on a nice hot day for coolness and thirst clenching. That's my whole repertoire |

"Aldi now do standard and 'large' cucumbers.
It's entertaining watching people try and decide between the two.
A"
Yes I noticed too. For me it's all in the squeeze. Has to feel firm orherwise all seeds and watery inside. |
