fruit or other edible items you like that are not commonly found here. I was at a market today and were selling punnets of luquats, bought a couple and just had some. Delicious and so sweet. I think last time I had some was few years back in Spain or Greece on holiday. Pink lady apples are great but every now and then something unsual is good |

I think you are thinking of barberries (zhereshk)... Vet tart tasting but different from cherries |
