I rather like lustful urges.

A carnal mind is a way to heaven in my estimation.

I suspect you'd have to ask the people or deities who made those rules. They're not available right now, please leave a message after the tone etc

We are acting as we were created to do. How can it be wrong?

I think it's a sin when it becomes all consuming and stops one from making good decisions. For example being so overcome by lust that you cheat on your partner etc.

Some d*unk monks got horny one night but no lady-of-the-night would let them do the do. They got all huffy and proclaimed "if we can't have it, you can't have it either", thus lust became a sin.

It’s partly that but the main reason is it’s a greed / craving associated with worldly rather than spiritual values about people and things.

It’s all about the selfs gratification not the object of the lust/greed. It’s automatic rather than chosen which is an action of a non spiritual animal

I think like some of the other deadly sins it’s suggested that Lust is excessive or more than usual sexual desire. Much like gluttony and greed.

I love lust. It's the closest thing to love after all.

It also feels a bit forbidden which I kinda like too

It’s not, it’s a made up idea from a made up book.

The first actually sensible reply in this thread. You can find good and bad in all the sins but the reason they're sins is that when you take it too far

Lust or lechery (Latin: luxuria "carnal") is intense longing. It is usually thought of as intense or unbridled sexual desire,[24] which may lead to fornication (including adultery), ra*e, bestiality, and other sinful and sexual acts; oftentimes, however, it could also mean other forms of unbridled desire, such as for money, or power.

The truth of the matter is that all Abrahamic religions have taught that sex is wrong and that women are evil because they are key to sexual endeavors.

I was taught that in simple terms at my RC school, and many people are still disabled by it.
