1st thing is not to make age a thing. It’s not. You just like each other. That’s what matters.

I'm too old for you but it's not intimidation exactly, for some of us there is a certain reticence around the obvious contrast in younger and older bodies.
I don't think there's anything you could be doing differently with regard to your profile it tells us all we need to know.

I think generally it’s hard for guys on here. I’ve found it hard at times. My advice is to not put pressure on this site to meet people. It’s more difficult than apps for example. |

Sorry, but the simple fact that you believe we're intimidated by you, shows your lack of understanding of women.
We're not looking to meet single guys but if we we're, it would be very unlikely to be a boy (your description) years younger than our children. Many others feel the same.
Your best chance is probably a club night specifically aimed at cougars and cubs.

I know what I want and have done all my life so ageing hasn't changed much for me. Most people seem to have a hang-up about it and are always referring to it but I couldn't care less. I get hit on all time in clubs so, old ladies, get that shrivelled ass out there! |

It could be a number of different factors. For example with couples, dependent on who's running the profile and what they are looking for, the guy/girl would want someone their own age.
I also agree with the stigma attached to the younger guys thinking that they are going to be inexperienced etc.
I definitely don't think it's an intimidation issue because they probably have more experience than you've had hot dinners.
You are a little young also OP, I'm 27 and I'm still sometimes put in that same bracket until I actually have a conversation with someone. Maybe if you found someone specifically looking for younger guys, you'd be better suited at what you're looking for rather than blaming it on any kind of intimidation factor |

Thinking that older women might be intimidated by younger guys made me laugh!!
I can hand on heart tell you that no, we're not intimidated. Alot of us have raised teenagers- nothing fucking scares us now!!!
Speaking for myself & my friends of a similar age, we've lived enough life to be permanently unimpressed by alot of shit. We know what we want & how to get it. I definitely like a man younger than me, but preferably one who's balls dropping is no longer a novelty & having a birth year in the same century as me is a must.
I'm afraid that unless you're some kind of prodigy, you almost certainly won't have developed the fine tuned sexual skills I'm looking for in a play partner. Those skills take years to master & you're not yet old enough to have grown out of the belief that being a 'young stud' is enough, or that a woman my age should somehow be grateful for your company |

I really doubt it's a case of feeling intimidated for me it's about what kind of experience I want out of it and I find it's usually more wholesome with someone closer to my age or older. Not to say that there weren't exceptions.

I loved the comment, but had not decided whether I was going to sit back with my pop corn and watch the car crash, or whether it was preferable to say something light and reflect the humour of your original comment.
It took me a while, cos sarcasm is the default mode, but I did feel a number of the younger generation were losing limbs and so there was no need to pile in. |

Absolutely not intimidated by younger guys at all .... quite the opposite I pay them no attention and have no interest.

Problem with this quote though is so many of us "apparently " lie about our ages on Fab, the younger guys don't have a clue which ones of us are actually classed as old anymore!
