Dispatches on the growth of small convenience stores run by the supermarkets and how they costs us more on fruit and veg.

Local grocers are coming up less expensive.

I get so much for £10 from the market. But now I work away a lot I can't justify it going to waste.

I don't get much freezer room in this house. As its shared. I do use market when I'm home all week.

we have a farm shop just down the road from me which sources all its fruit and veg locally. the majority of the meat sold there is from teir own stock to.

i find it expensive for my budget so only eat their stuff when dad cooks

had some scrummy lamb yesterday and oxtail today
